“Nagorno Karabakh problem can only be solved peacefully”, said on Saturday U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at the meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, APA reports quoting the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry.

The meeting was held on Saturday evening in Munich, in the frame of the 48th International Conference On Security.

"Karabakh problem can only be solved peacefully. United States as co-chair of OSCE Minsk Group will continue to provide all the assistance in reaching agreement between the parties of the conflict and solution of the problem "- Armenian Foreign Ministry Press Service quotes Clinton.

It is noted that the sides discussed existing stage of Karabakh process in detail.

"Nalbandian emphasized the importance of the U.S. role as co-chair of OSCE Minsk Group and Clinton spoke about the results of Sochi meeting of Presidents of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia on January 23," – reads press release of Armenian Foreign Ministry.
