"Our Azerbaijani brothers and sisters did their best and extended a great support both in France and Azerbaijan," he said.

Erdogan said that Turkey would conduct different works regarding the matter in the coming period.

Solidarity and assistance between Turkey and Azerbaijan should continue, he said.

French Senate adopted a law which penalizes the denial of Armenian allegations regarding 1915 incidents during Ottoman Empire period. Under the law, people, who deny the Armenian allegations, are sentenced to one year in prison and 45,000 euro fine.
