"The lands, around Nagorno Karabakh, are not just lands, but are an important component of security of the population", said Artur Agabekyan, chairman of the permanent parliamentary commission on defende, national security and internal affairs and deputy of the Dashnaktsiutun party.
He said his party has noted that it will take previously defined measures against any possible agreements with Azerbaijan regarding concessions. "We do not agree to give a single piece land to Azerbaijan in the area of the Karabakh conflict", noted the deputy, saying that all statements about any territorial concessions are just rumors.
US mediator Metthew Bryza has notably called on Armenia to recognize belonging of Nagorno Karabakh to Azerbaijan.
