GUARDIAN: DEFINING HISTORICAL TRUTHS IS NOT THE JOB OF POLITIC AUTHORITIES

English The Guardian daily newspaper pointed to the discussions about penalizing denial of alleged Armenian genocide in France, newspaper commented that defining historical truths and punishing historians was not the job of politic authorities.

The Guardian journal wrote that neither limitings of states in such manner nor defining history and penalizing historians were not acceptible. Writing that some countries were defining history strictly and penalizing denial of it, The Guardian writer Timothy Garton wrote;
