In Nagorno Karabakh, that is under occupation of Armenia, 675 Armenian couple married meantime.
Mass wedding ceremonies held in Shusha Church and in a monastery in Akdere. It is learned that mass wedding ceremonies are sponsored by an Armenian benefactor Levon Ayrapetyan. Also every couple is favoured with $2500. Besides it is promised that couples will take $2000 for first child, $3000 for second child, $5000 for third child, $10000 for fourth child, $20,000 for fifth child, $50,000 for sixth child and $100,000 for seventh child.
Political Observers says that so called Armenian administration in Nagorno Karabakh region wants to increase Armenian population in the region, as many Armenian people migrates because of povetry and unemployment, on the other hand they want Armenians constitute the majority in case of any referendum in the settlement process of Karabakh conflict.
