Armenia took over the presidency of Black Sea Economic Cooperation from Albania. The 19th Foreign Ministers meeting of BlackSea Economic Cooperation held in capital of Albania Tirana. Turkey was represented by Foreign Minister Ali Babacan. Presidency of BSEC will be on Armenia till 30 April 2009. In the meeting Foreign Ministers stressed the importance of the cooperation between member countries in all aspects. Ministers appraised studies of BSEC in the period of presidency of Albania.
Foreign Ministers had an agreement about simpifying the BSEC visa applications of truck drievers of the member countries. Besides some principles which will increase the influence of BSEC are confirmed by member countries
