Yerevan administration launched military trainings in Azerbaijani lands, upper Karabakh. While the hopes for peace are rising for Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Armenian armed forces started military training in the Azerbaijani occupied terriotories.
Armenian president went to the region and watched military training, as Armenian Defence Minister Seyran Oganyan informed him about the training. No information is given about the number of Armenian soldier that attended to training, which is made in Uzundara, Agdam. Heavy weapons, armoured vehicles and commando units attended to training. On the other hand, being reelected as President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev said that it was impossible for them to recognize the independence of Upper Karabakh. Aliyev said,
