No nation is innocent. All nations have some dark pages in their past. The Western history in particular is full of massacres, genocides, human rights abuses and violence. Turks did a lot of wars, they conquered countries, occupied lands. However the Bulgarians, Greeks, Hungarians, Romanians, Arabs or Armenians were not assimilated.
