ENGLISH FINANCIAL TIMES ACCUSES ARMENIAN DIASPORA WITH PREVENTING TURKISH ARMENIAN RECONCILIATION

Making a comment on the recent reconciliation between Turkey and Armenia, English Financial Times journal reported that there were important initiatives being made between two countries but Armenian diaspora was preventing these developments.

Reporting that Turkish and Armenian Foreign Ministers met to discuss over the problems in Caucasia which is one of the most unstable regions in the world, Financial Times said that two countries were trying to normalize their bilateral relations.

Other than that Financial Times wrote that President Abdullah Gul had visited Armenian capital in September to watch soccer game between Turkish and Armenian national teams and Armenian President Serzh Sarksyan will be in Istanbul in October 2009 to watch return match between Turkish and Armenian national teams. Writing that the developments in Caucasia and closed borders of Turkey and Azerbaijan have put Armenia in a hard situation, Financial Times wrote,
