Turks. Come from Middle Asia and get settled to Anatolia. Ah, more than that pass to Europe. Conquer Istanbul and reach to the borders of Wien.
Handle Blacksea. Take the control of whole Eagean islands. Rule to people from many different languages and religions. What kind of thing is this??.. Where is justice, from where you do find the right to conquer the lands of other nations?. Then, as all these are not enough, deport Armenians and Greeks from your country which for hundreds of years you lived together. Then claim that you were brothers with Kurdish people and urge them to live under same flag. Deny the right of seperatists to establish a state in your country. What kind of policy is this? More. Go and invade half of Cyprus. Then insist to not to leave those lands before you guarantee the rights of Turkish people of the island. And never regret about all these things you did.
These statements above is a summary of writings and statements of some of our liberal intellectuals. They are a little exaggerated by me to be more visible.

Here is my point. Aren't all these are the part of life? What is wrong with it? Are there any nation who haven't invade some another nation's land? Didn't Englishes, Germans, Americans, Japans, Russians, Greeks, Persians invaded some other nation's country? Didn't they rule over the local people? So Roman Empire was just consisting of Rome? So the Great Alexader was from Alexandretta. Didn't American Indian tribes fought with each other? Aren't there any African tribe which fought with another tribe? World was always in peace and were it the Turks who damaged it? What is the reason of this campaing of blaming and accusing Turkish nation? There is a pressure over Turkish people to feel shame about their history and to apologize. We do not deserve these accusations and humiliation.

According the Christianity philosophy, God has a plan about the life on the earth and how World will be ruled. That is called as God's plan. If there is something happening in the World that is not suitable with God's plan, it should be terminated. And if there is something existing in the plan and not on the World, it must be established. That is the mentality of Christians and Europe. That is called as "mission" in religious rhetoric. God's plan requires the rule over uncivilized communities by civilized ones. The first aim was uncivilized Turkish nation's conversion to Christianity. They called that movement as "The Relief of the Eastern Christians". The ethical reason of external pressure over Ottoman Empire after 1800's was that. But the interesting thing is, our intellectuals still supports those ideas.
