The campaign that some of Turkish intellectuals started fof apologizing from Armenians about 1915 events started over the website www.ozurdiliyoruz.com.
The campaign which is started by the lead of Prof. Ahmet Insel, Prof. Baskin Oran, Dr. Cengiz Aktar and journalist Ali Bayramoglu intends to personal apologize from Armenians about the events that happened in 1915.
In the text for signing personal apologize, there writes; "My conscience does not accept the insensitivity showed to and the denial of the Great Catastrophe that befell the Ottoman Armenians in 1915. I reject this injustice and for my share, I empathize with the feelings and pain of my Armenian brothers. I apologize to them."
The group that paid support to the campaign included 200 writers, intellectuals and academics. Germany
