IT IS NOT KNOWN YET WHETHER TURKEY WILL APPEAL AGAINST EUROPEAN COURT

Turkish Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Burak Ozugergin stated that it is not known yet whether Turkey will apply to the cassation instance to appeal against the verdict of the European Court of Human Rights or not. He meant the verdict issued lately, according to which Turkey should pay in total 875 thousand euros to Saint Saviour hospital and Samatia district council.

Spokesman Burak Ozugergin said: "It is a very complicated problem, and we are studying the issue. We do not know yet whether we will apply to the higher instance or not."
