Chief of Bafra department of the Association of the State Officials of Turkey Ugur Hatipoglu announced that the campaign "We apologize to Armenians", launched by some representatives of intellectuals, means the collective blaming of the Turkish society.
He noted that the campaign, launched by a group of people, calling themselves intellectuals and having no sense of patriotism, is aimed to collectively bring the whole Turkish people to responsibility and said the following: "The pain for genocide, committed by Armenian bands in Anatolia, murder of our diplomats by Armenian terror organization ASALA and genocide, committed by Armenians in Azerbaijan, has not been forgotten yet. We decisively disprove this smeary campaign".
