Youth of Borekli district, settled 10 kilometers distance to the center of Erzurum where Armenians massacred 150 people in 1918, reacted to the apology campaign which is initiated by a group of Turkish intellectuals to apologize about 1915 events and they said,
Youth of the Borekli district reminded apologizer intellectuals that Armenian partizans slaughtered women, men and children in three different hayloft. People of the district can not understand attitude of apologizer intellectuals. Making a speech in behalf of the youth of the district Selami Ucar said that the ones who should apologize are Armenians. Ucar said that 150 men, women and children was slaughtered by Armenian partizans. Stating that they are always told about the atrocity of Armenians in their town, Ucar said,
