Answering the questions of Nuriye Akman for Zaman daily, Laciner Said,
- This is what disturbs me the most. The necessarity of hiding ethnicity which is dangerous for an open society and a for a healthy state. I mean people should be able to say that they are Armenian freely. People should be able to be minister, deputy, judge with their open identity. If they need to hide their identities therefore secret organizations would be formed.
- Unfortunately period of Republic was not successful about this issue
