In his new year message, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said, "We use military force for our territorial integrity if it is necessary."
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said that they will try political and diplomatic ways for providing territorial integrity of their country and he added that they won't avoid to use military force as a last solution. In his new year message, Aliyev said that the biggest problem of his country is the occupation of Azerbaijani lands by Armenian forces. Aliyev underscored that Nagorno Karabakh is Azerbaijani land and said that they will never give liberation to the Karabakh.
Ilham Aliyev said, "We are trying every way for providing territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. We are doing everything we can politically and diplomatically. If it is needed we will use military force too. International laws give this right to us".
Stating thay economy of Azerbaijan had the highest growth in 2008, Aliyev said that Baku-Tbilisis-Ceyhan and Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipelines is being operated with success.
