Writer of Liberation daily Jean Kehayan wrote a letter to the initiators and attenders of apology campaign. Kehanyan called apologizers as his brothers and praised the apology campaign. Kehayan wrote, "Initiators and attenders of apology campaign, you should know that you are the brothers of the people who carries the hope of the future and historical truths. We, Armenian descent French people are in solidarity with you. We only claim historical truth, not lands nor returning of possession."

"LETTER TO MY TURKISH BROTHERS"

Kehayan said that Turkish intellectuals had started a "peace" campaign and said that they had apologized to all people who carries the pain of 1,5 million Anatolian Armenian. Kehayan defined the attenders of apology campaign as "honour" of Turkey. Kehayan claimed that when someone hear the word "Armenian" in somewhere in the world the first thing he/she would remember was so called Armenian genocide. He said that Turkish people do not want to hear this terrible word since they feel it as an assault to their civilization.

Kehayan claimed that the guilt of "genocide" was on Turks and Kurds with guns in their hands if the role of Russia and Germany should be neglected.

Kehayan wrote, "Your Prime Minister Erdogan do not want to hear the word "apologize". His choice is not towards to enter to the great door of history. But President Abdullah Gul is not like that. He heard the voice of citizens who were calling for peace. Visiting Yerevan in an occasion of a football game, President Gul filled the people with hope who were suffering because of the closed borders. Armenia is a little country and risks of choking economically is high as the embargo goes on."

Kehayan claimed that this move of apologizing intellectuals will bring Turkey closer to EU. Kehayan said that they have nationalist people who do not want Turkey in EU. He said that excluding Turkey would mean for EU to not to have borders with Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia, while future of Caucasian republics which Russia struggles to have the control of them again, is in EU.

Kehanyan wrote, "Initiators and attenders of apology campaign, you should know that you are the brothers of the people who carries the hope of the future and historical truths. We, Armenian descent French people are in solidarity with you. We only claim historical truth, not lands nor returning of possession."
