Researcher Historian Cezmi Yurtsever claimed that 8 thousand Turkish people were poisoned with poisonous bread and meals who refuged to American Hospital during the siege of Van city by Russian forces with the support of Armenian militia in June of 1915.
Stating that he was studying on the history of Cukurova and he first started his researchs with Turkish Armenian relations, Historian Yurtsever said that he reached to the document with code "HR.SYS.HU,kr.110, dos.12-2,nr.56-62" in Ottoman archives which says that 8 thousand Turkish people were poisened with poisonous bread and meals who refuged to American Hospital during the siege of Van city by Russian forces with the support of Armenian militia in June of 1915.
Pointing that the statements of Zeliha Hanim who run away from Hospital and survived was eliciting the terrible truth, Yurtsever reminded the statements of Zeliha Hanim which she told the commission: "The muslims who were captured in Van was brought to American Hospital, we did not understand what was happening. They took of our clothes and we were nearly nude. There were about 8 thousand muslims and they gave people a loaf of bread and meal. But people who ate those died within 2 months with diarrhea."
Stating that the date of the events and sketch and map of the American Hospital in Van exists in Armenian archives, Yurtsever said, "It is needed for an international research and excavation team for finding the mass graves of people who died in the American Hospital which is settled near Van Castle". Yurtsever said, "United Nations also should also join this. Last year Armenian diaspora shot a movie for this event to be falsified and they presented American Doctor Ussher as a hero."
