It is learned that the name of Armenian Patriarch Mesrob Mutafyan is included in the assasination list of Ergenekon terrorist organization which is found in the personel computer of Former Vice President of Special Operations Department Ibrahim Sahin. It is claimed that organization was in preparations for an assault against the people in Etlik, Ankara.
Aiming to start a conflict between Alawi and Sunni communities of Turkey just before the local elections, it is claimed that Sahin and his staff planned to realize their plans in 4 levels. Organization also planned to kill Armenian Patriarche Mutafyan, initiators of Armenian apology campaign and other famous Turkish Armenians to damage the new Armenian policy of government.
It is claimed that lieutenants Muhammet Sarikaya and Taylan Ozgur Kirmizi who are arrested the day before were leading the assasination team and they were taking orders directly from Ibrahim Sahin. In the researchs there found many plans in detail about the operations in the house of Sahin.
