Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mamedyarov received Russian ambassador to our country Vasili Istratov on January 14, said spokesman for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Elkhan Polukhov.
He said at the meeting the ambassador presented to the Minister the response of the Russian side to Azerbaijan's request on information about free arms delivery to Armenia of a total of $800,000,000. "The response of the Russian side did not satisfy the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry due to its incompleteness. The Minister suggested to the Russian side to give a more precise answer", said Polukhov.
Arms supply contradicts to the resolutions of the UN Security Council on Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, as well as resolutions of the UN General Assembly, on situation in the occupied lands of Azerbaijan.
