Armenia bought 800 million dollars worth weapons from Russia. This contradicts to OSCE Minsk (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe) group agreement. This situation disturbed Azerbaijan and asked Russia for an explanation. This arm trade damaged the weak balance in Caucasus which was already ruined by Karabakh conflict and Georgian war.

By now, Armenia is already contradicting to international agreements and keeps Azerbaijani lands under occupation. So, Russia's attitude with selling arms to a conflicting country showes that it has not back down from its secret desires on Caucasus.

Gyumri Agreement

Gyumri agreement is the first agreement of Turkish state. As Russian Tsar was falling down, Russian troops withdrew from Eastern regions of Turkey but Armenian troops which were cooperating with Russians did not. This troops were being managed by Dashnaks. Under the lead of murderer Antranik, Armenian troops were going on applying massacres against Turkish and Azerbaijani people in the region.

Commander Kazim Karabekir go upon Armenian troops with about 50,000 soldier and provided the control in the eastern regions back. Armenians had to withdraw and agree with Turkey's conditions. Gyumri agreement is signed between Armenian and Turkish parties in 2 December 1920.

According to this agreement Turkey would be able to stock military force within Armenia temporarily in case there is a threat against the security of Turkey. Today Armenia contradicts with that agreement and continues its activities against Turkey as it does not recognize Turkey's territorial integrity showing Turkish lands within the boundaries of Armenian state. According to international agreements arming of Armenia is a crime. In this conditions Turkey have right to stock military force in Armenia due to Gyumri agreement.
