As fast as Obama took the Presidency over, Armenians in U.S. started a new campaign for the recognition of so called Armenian genocide by U.S. administration. By the initiative of major Armenian organization ANCA, Armenian diaspora in U.S. will send thousands of letters and e-mail to White House about the issue.
American Armenian started a campaign as fast as President elect Barack Obama takes over the Presidency of United States. Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) started a new campaign calling 1,5 million American Armenian to support. ANCA called Armenian diaspora in America to call new President Obama to hold his promise that he gave during election campaign, and recognize 1915 events as "genocide".
ANCA published a standart text to be sent to White House by the supporters of the campaign. It is so easy to send the message to White House over the web site of foundation otomatically.
Just 20 days before now, 20 Armenian foundations wrote a mutual letter to Barack Obama and they had wanted Obama to hold his promise about recognizing "Armenian genocide".
Armenians are expected to keep the issue on the agenda of U.S. and to go on their studies of pressurizing U.S. administration about recognizing so called genocide till 24 april.
