Pulled some reactions over itself by guesting Tuncay Guney in a TV program whose name exists in charge sheet of Ergenekon as "suspicious fugitive", this time TRT pulled reactions over itself again with a program about so called Armenian genocide.
Izmir deputy of Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) and retired Major General Erdal Sipahi stated that TRT handled the apology campaign which is initiated by some certain circles in a program about so called Armenian genocide. Sipahi said, "The apology campaign that is started by fake intellectauls was the topic of the program in TRT. The guests of the programs that i can not understand with which purpose they were called to program, said that they would attend to apology campaign if the expression in the text of the campaign had used "sorry" instead of "apologize". They did that in a broadcasting of a state television. And then they started a discussion about genocide and ethnic cleansing. I wonder if i watch TRT or an Armenian channel. Am i in Ankara or Yerevan? I was not sure that if the broadcasting was being made from Yerevan".
Nationalist Movement Party Deputy Sipahi brought this issue to agenda of Turkish Grand National Assembly for Minister of State Mehmet Aydin to reply. Sipahi asked, "For which purpose, such a discussion did take place in a state television which has the word
