NALBANDIAN INSISTS ON "GENOCIDE"

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbanidan underscored that they are not going to make sacrifices to normalize their relations with Ankara and said, "Armenia will never stop its policy of calling for international recognition of "Armenian genocide".

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said that Armenia will agree to form an intergovernmental commission only after Turkey opens the border and establishes diplomatic relations with Armenia without any precondition.

According to Armenian press Nalbandian said, "Turkey is not doing a favor to Armenia by normalizing relations" and said, "Armenia is not going to make sacrifices to normalize its relations with Ankara".

Nalbandian said, "Armenia will never stop its policy of calling for international recognition of Armenian genocide. The black pages in the history should be turned over but should never be forgotten. Armenia will never questionize the truth of "Armenian genocide"."

Armenian Foreign Minister said that he agreed with the opinion of his Turkish counterpart Ali Babacan that two countries are close to reconciliation. But he addeed, "Nevertheless, the problems will be solved only if Turkey accepts to establish diplomatic relations with Armenia without preconditions."

Armenian foreign Minister Nalbandian also declared that he will attend the meeting of suggestion of Turkey Caucasus Stability and Cooperation Platform.
