Foreign Ministry Officials of Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia will gather in Istanbul on Monday and they will discuss about the issues for bringing the Turkey's suggestion Caucasian Stability and Cooperation Platform into effect.
An important step is about to be made for bringing Turkey's suggestion of Caucasus stability and Cooperation Platform in the begining of next week. Caucasus Platform is suggested by Turkey after the war between Russia and Georgia for solving problems in the region by the way of dialogue.
High level officials of Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia Foreign Ministries will gather in Istanbul on Monday and they will discuss about the issues for bringing the Turkey's suggestion Caucasian Stability and Cooperation Platform into effect. It is learned that Foreign Ministry Deputy Secretary Unal Cevikoz will host the meeting, where correspondant countries will be represented in the level of vice minister. Last summer after Russian-Georgian conflict appeared unexpectedly Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan suggested for establishing the Caucasus Stability and Cooperation Platform for the problems in the region to be solved by the way of dialogue.
The suggestion is found favourable by the countries in the region by the visits of PM Erdogan and FM Babacan.
