BABACAN MAY MEET WITH HIS ARMENIAN COUNTERPART IN DAVOS

Foreign Affairs Minister Ali Babacan said that he may meet with his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian in Davos. Leaving for attending World Economical Forum Annual Meeting in Davos village of Switzerland, Foreign Minister Ali Babacan held a press conference in esenboga airport.

Babacan stated that the most important topic of the Davos meeting this year will be Global economical crisis and he said that there will be many panels including, "The position of Europe in the World", "Future of NATO", "Middle East", "Iran", "Pakistan and its neighbours."

After a question if there will be any contacts between Turkey and Armenia in Davos meetings, Babacan said, "By now there is not a planned meeting between our Prime Minister and Armenian President Serzh Sarksyan." Babacan said that he may meet with his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian but said that there is not confirmed reservation for the time of the meeting.
