Likud Party deputy Zeev Elkin stated that the new parliament will start working on February 24 and said, "Attitude of Ankara has proved the inevitability of "Armenian Genocide" recognition."
Member of Knesset said that the attitude of Ankara has proved the inevitability of recognition of so called Armenian genocide and said, "Likud Party stands a good chance to head it", pointing passage of resolution from Knesset about so called Armenian genocide.
Elkin pointed the harsh critisizms of Turkish government about operations of Israel in Gaza and said, "I was right to insist on recognition of the "Armenian Genocide". We did not do it, and instead of support, we received harsh criticism from Turkey."
