"My visit to Armenia will contribute to settlement of security problems through regional economic cooperation, establishment of stability, well-being and prosperity in the region", President of Turkey Abdullah Gul said in the interview with ATV, Today.az reported quoting from Arminfo.
When asked about the relations of Turkey with the neighboring states, Abdullah Gul emphasized that Armenia is also a neighbor of Turkey and the work on establishment of relations between the countries is currently underway. Commenting on the apologize campaign to Armenians launched by representatives of the Turkish intellectuals and its impact on the relations between the two countries, A. Gul said: "If talk turkey, this action will have a negative effect".
