"Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan did not dare to attend the joint discussions of different issues held in Davos in the framework of the World Economic Forum held there", he told a local ATV channel.
According to Mamedov, the refusal of the Armenian President to take part in the debates was caused by his fear to be in an unfavorable situation.
"But this has its positive side, as the President did not take part in the discussions due to some circumstances", noted the chief of department.
He said such cases often occur with the Armenian leaders.
"We have repeatedly watched during contacts with the Armenian side including in the framework of talks held on the conflict resolution that they refuted their words and earlier given promises without any shame", noted Mamedov.
