According to the report of NTV Washington representative Umit Enginsoy, maximum number of signatures by the deputies is targeted for the petition that is arranged by Armenian lobby to seek support for the new "genocide" bill that will be brought to the U.S. Congress by four senior Armenian politician.
Armenians want President Obama to hold his pledge and recognize 1915 events as "genocide". On the other hand, the Armenian lobby in the U.S. Congress completes its preparations for the new "genocide" bill.
Bill will be brought to U.S. House of Representatives by four Senior pro-Armenian politician, Adam Schiff, Frank Pallone, George Radanovich and Mark Kirk.
Armenians still struggles to gather the maximum number of signatures for support to this new "Armenian genocide" bill.
Turkish deputies who are in Washington for lobbying against recognition of Armenian allegations by American administrations, Suat Kinikoglu and Cuneyt Yuksel confirmed that Armenian lobbies working hard lately.
To a question if New President of U.S. Barack Obama will use the term "genocide" for the 1915 events in his speech on 24 April, Suat Kinikoglu said, "I do not know".
