Major donor to the museum businessmen Gerard Cafesjian is suing to reclaim his donations. And he is being sued by museum organizers for trying to prevent their work.
The Armenian Assembly of America initiated the planning of museum and Cafesjian donated big amount of money for the project. But later on Cafesjian changed his decision of donating to the project and sued museum organizers to take his money back and musem organizers claimed that he was trying to change the museum into a museum of Cafesjian family memories.
