Deputies of Justice and Development Party (AK Parti) Cuneyt Yuksel and Suat Kinikoglu with Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Deputy Mithat Melen had visited United States to make lobby against the recognition of an Armenian bill by the U.S. Congress. They have made many meetings with members of Congress; about 20 Jewish organisation and with officials from the Foreign Ministry of U.S. and they told thesis of Turkey about Armenian issue while they underscored how the recognition of such bill would affect Turkish American cooperation and the relation between Turkey and Armenia which is in a process of normalizing.
