Fazil say said that he aims to contribute normalization of the relations between Turkey and Armenia by his Akhtamar ballet project. Say said, "You know, Akhtamar is a legend, and Anatolian legend which passes in Lake Van. Besides it is a legend that is told both by Armenian and Turkish people. Based on a story of love between an Armenian girl and a Turkish boy. We plan to realize this project with 100 artists from Turkey and 100 artists from Armenia. We all know that such projects will contribute the friendship between Turkey and Armenia. As a matter of fact, activities of the artists played an important role in the development of the relations between Greece and Turkey. There are responsibilities of artists about balancing the political problems."
