Armenian Ministry of Diaspora issued an instruction to Armenian television channels to not to make discrimination between native Armenians and diaspora Armenians.
Government also reminded local TV channels that Armenians in foreign countries also watch them.
In the last Presidential elections Armenian diaspora openly supported the opposition leader and did demand for the cancellation of elections. These developments strained the relations between Armenian government and diaspora.
About 10 million Armenian lives all over the world and only three million of them lives within the borders of Republic of Armenia.
