Armenian forces in the Azerbaijan-Armenia frontline in Fizuli rayon's Karahanbeyli village violated the ceasefire and opened fire over Azerbaijani soldiers. Lieutenant Ali Canov and private Cavid Suleymanov perished in the conflict. Tural Haciyev and Asger Merdanov perished because of the mines that Armenians laid.
The battle between Azerbaijan and Armenia had ended with the ceasefire agreement that is signed in 1994. The Armenian occupation on the 20 percent of Azerbaijani lands is going on. During 2008 Armenians violated ceasefire many times and killed 20 Azerbaijani soldier and 3 civilian.
