An apology letter arrived to Turkish Presidency of General Staff that comes from Israeli Presidency of General Staff that is about the statements of Israeli major general who had accused Turkey with massacring Armenians and invading Cyprus.
Commenting about the issue during weekly press release Head of Department of Communication Lieutenant General Metin Gurak said that Israeli Chief of General Staff called Chief of General Staff General Ilker Basbug and expressed his disturbance about the statements of Israeli major general Avi Mizrahi. Israeli Chief of General Staff said that the statements of major general are his personal opinion. Gurak said that afterwards a letter of official apology arrived to the Turkish Presidency of General Staff that expresses Israel's disturbance about the event.
