AZERBAIJAN TO APPLY TO ECHR ON KHOJALY GENOCIDE

Azerbaijani Presidency social and political affairs advisor Ali Hasanov stated that all the evidences about Khojaly massacre, video records, photographs, witness testimonies are being prepared and said that they will apply to ECHR soon.

On 26 February 1992, Armenian armed forces seized Khojaly settlement in Nagorno Karabakh and committed one of the most bloody massacre of 20th century. Armenian seperatists killed more than 600 people within hours including 106 women and 83 children. 1275 Azerbaijani people were taken prisoner. 800 of them freed but the fate of 500 of them is stil unknown.
