ANCA claimed that Turkey was using its diplomatic influence and its position in the UN Security Council to prevent international action to end the "genocide" in Darfur. ANCA said that Turkey supports the current government in Sudan and claimed that the government committed genocide. ANCA said that Turkey sells military arms to Sudanese government and it supports Arabian administration of the country diplomatically.
Actually the situation in Sudan is not like Armenian Americans claims just to insult Turkey. People of Sudan are all muslims. Because of the famine in their regions some African tribes in the country started riots and Arabian government had to use the armed forces of some Arabian tribes for quelling the continuance of the riots. Civilians are deported and villages are burned down. Conflicts ruined the agricultural areas and thus hunger and famine reared their ugly heads. Ethnic groups massacred each other.
