Speaking about the statements of Israeli major general Avi Mizrahi, Levy said, "Mizrahi's statements are his own opinions. If he had made the same statements before Davos meeting he would find same reaction. After that statements Israeli President of General Staff and his Turkish counterpart had a phone interview. Following that Israeli President of General Staff sent a letter to Turkish Presidency of General staff and the day before i delivered the reply of the note to Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs."
Replying a question reminding that there is a claim that Israel back establishment of a Kurdish state northern Iraq, Gaby Levy said, "Forget about it. Because we support the territorial integrity of Iraq as Turkey. We certianly do not want a Kurdish state in the region. We recognize PKK as a terrorist organization and we support Turkey
