On the other hand, rumors about Turkey's participating in such project created trouble in Armenia. The idea was proposed by Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan for the first time, saying that Turkey may participate the building process of the new Nuclear Power Plant that will be built in Armenia and he had underscored that both Russia and Armenia would welcome Turkey's participation.

Russia's participation to the project is certain but nobody expected Armenia to make such initiative and call Turkey to cooperate over nuclear power plant building process. This statements of Prime Minister Sargsyan attracted reactions in Armenia.

Political scientist Ruben Safratsyan said that Armenian Prime Minister Sargsyans offer will never come true and no one in the Armenia would run the risk of issuing an official offer to Turkey about the issue.
