Following the death of Rizayev, who was preventing the establishment of mason lodge, some circles in Azerbaijani media started to wrote, "Israel's new parliament started to break traditional friendship with Azerbaijan and they started to establish commissions for improving relations with Armenia. The disagreements between Turkey and Israel plays the most important role in this development."
Azerbaijani Express newspaper wrote that the number of parliamentarians who backs Azerbaijan against Armenia in Israeli Parliament is decreased a good bit while the number of parliamentarians who backs Armenia increased. Newspaper wrote that this development pleased Armenian people. Newspaper listed the reasons of this change of opinion in Israeli Parliament and claimed that the dispute between Turkey and Israel is one of the most important reasons for this.
On the other hand Azerbaijani media calls for attention that the murder of the head of Azerbaijani air forces is tried to be forgotten. Azadliq newspaper wrote that there are many points are still unknown about the assasination of Azerbaijani General even much time passed till he died. Newspaper called for attention to the ignoring attitude of Azerbaijani Generals and reminded that President Aliyev retured to country with breaking his visit to Kuwait after the assasination of General while Azerbaijani General continued their routine activities.
