Fried mentioned relations of United States with Turkey and said, "we have a very rich agenda with Turkey" in the briefing that he held over the visit of U.S. Minister of Foreign Affairs Hillary Clinton which will start next week. Fried said, "Turkey is an actor in the Middle East that have relations with all parties. Turkey is also an important actor in South Caucasus too. Turkey is a very good friend in the normalization of relations of Armenia with Azerbaijan and Georgia." Fried said that Turkish-American relations got well after start of active cooperation against PKK terrorist organization and he said that the new administration will build the relations over that base.
