RUSSIA TO LEND $500 MLN TO ARMENIA

Meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan in Moscow, Vladimir Putin said, "We will lend Armenia $500 million to ease the effects of Global recessions. We need the approval of Duma. I hope that will happen very soon." Putin said that Russian economy had a 10 percent of surplas in the budget last yeat and stated that Russia initiates important projects over energy and transportation.

Armenian Prime Minister Sargsyan said that Armenia and Russia cooperates in all aspects and it is favourable that the countries have relations regarding to mutual interests. Sargsyan said, "Financial support of Russia will contribute Armenia to overcome economical recessions. This amount is significant for us. Thousands of companies will go on working productively by this financial assistance." Russian Armenian relations develops due to establishment of joint air defence area and building a nuclear power plant to Armenia.
