The appeal says that women, who fought for their human rights in the 19th century and achieved it, have been celebrating March 8 on the international level.
"Unfortunately, in the modern world there are countries that violate the rights of women, the symbol of grace and beauty. We, the Azerbaijani women faced such a danger from Armenia."
The authors of the appeal underline that 20 percent of Azerbaijani territories were occupied as a result of the unfair war launched by Armenia in 1988, hundreds of thousands of Azerbaijani women are obliged to lead the life of refugees and IDPs.
