LAVROV: "WE ARE DISCUSSING KARABAKH ISSUE WITH TURKEY"

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that they are not making any parallel negotiations to the resolution process of the Karabakh conflict which contradicts with the principles of the OSCE Minsk Group and he said, "We are discussing the solution process with Turkey too. But these negotiations are not contrary to the principles of OSCE MG".

Paying an official visit to Baku, Lavrov met with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Memmedyarov.

In the joint press conference that FMs arranged, Lavrov said that Russia is ready to support the process for the resolution of Karabakh conflict in peaceful ways and said, "The resolution of the problem in short time basis is important for the Azerbaijan and Armenia and also important fort he countries in the region."
