Evaluating the reports of Turkish media last week telling "an agreement with Armenia very soon", speaker of Foreign Ministry of Armenia Tigran Balayan said, "Armenia already has its stance about establishment of normal relations with Turkey. Armenian Foreign Ministry numerously stated that it is towards of establishment of diplomatic relations without any precondition and still remains on the same point of view."

According to the report of Armenian News, Speaker of Armenian Foreign Ministry Tigran Balayan touched issue of so called Armenian genocide in context of relations between Turkey and Armenia and said, "Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said that the issue of 1915 "Armenian genocide" is not a matter of bartering in negotiations between Turkey and Armenia in his speech in Diplomacy Academy in Paris on 11 March. We evaluate the policy of Turkey pointing that rapprochement process between countries will be damaged if U.S. recognizes "Armenian genocide" as exaggerative."
