Senator noted that he was aware of problems of Azerbaijan occurred as a result of Nagorno Karabakh. "We can speak about the conflict a lot. Occupation of Azerbaijani lands by Armenia is considered as aggression. This aggression is against international decisions and human rights. We cannot support such kind of fact. We knows the fact of occupation and support Azerbaijan being as Spanish MP," he said. Lavall underlined that Armenian armed forces committed genocide during Khojaly tragedy.
"If Azerbaijan appeals to the Spanish Parliament to recognize Khojaly Genocide, I will support it. There are many MPs having same opinions on this issue. I believe that most of European countries will recognize Khojaly Genocide," he said.
