Touching relations of Turkey with Armenia, Davutoglu said that inappropriate attitude of Armenian diaspora in United States affects Turkish-Armenian relations negatively. Stating that Turkey is inclined to have an agreement with Armenia, Professor Doctor Davutoglu said, "Diaspora is in a struggle for the recognition of so called Armenian genocide but they do not consider wheter such thing is beneficial for Armenia. An Armenian who lives in San Francisco does not make investment in Yerevan. Today, Armenia is the poorest country in the region. We aim to have more economical cooperation with hour neighbours. We want our neighbours as rich countries cause we believe that it will make our region a safer place."Davutoglu said that if United States recognizes so called Armenian genocide, not only United States and Turkey but Armenia will suffer too. Stating that the solutions of the problems of Armenia with Turkey and Azerbaijan will be for the favour of United States, Davutoglu said, "If U.S. loses Azerbaijan in the issue of Karabakh, then it will mean the lose of gate to eastern of Caspian Sea."
