Representatives Pallone and Kirk are known with their pro-Armenian diaspora policies in the U.S. Congress. Pallone and Kirk also among the leading team of Congress members who struggled for indtroducement of so called Armenian genocide resolution to the House of Representatives the much. Now they are calling for support to a "foreign aid bill" which is ironic since they are also backing a resolution that might damage Turkish-Armenian normalization process deeply. Armenia loses so much more than U.S. can send Armenia under the name of "aid" because of its close borders with Turkey and Azerbaijan.
Foreign aid bill increases economic assistance to Armenia from $48 million to $70 million. And military aid to Armenia from level of $3.3 million to $5 million.
