Among other things, one of the leading member of Armenian community in Syria, Nora Arisyan also following Turkish serails closely. But Nora Arisyan is disturbed of increasing popularity of Turkish serials in Arab world. Speaking at Armenian Red Cross last month, Arisyan said that Turkish serials has the same effect of genocide in the homes of Armenians and causing wounds that cannot be covered on the identity of Armenians.
On the other hand, Armenian community of the country is also disturbed of developing relations between Turkey and Syria. The calendar that is prepared by Syria Armenian Youth Organization for 2009 includes a map of Armenia showing Agri, Erzurum, Kars and Van as Armenian territory.
Experts consider that the success of Turkish serials in Arabian world depends on the similar cultural features of two nations and they point that the relations of Turkey and Syria is developing.
